Mental Wellbeing

Mental wellbeing includes our psychological, emotional and social wellbeing. It can affect how we think, feel and act. It is important at every stage of life.
Good mental health and wellbeing is essential for living a happy and healthy life. It can help us handle stress and sleep better, make healthy choices, feel better and have more positive relationships. It can also help us deal with difficult times in the future.
If you are struggling with your mental health can use NHS 111 online or call 111. You can also refer yourself to your local Talking Therapy provider. For more general mental wellbeing advice, visit the Every Mind Matters website.
More detailed mental health service information, local to you, is included in the boxes below.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, it’s important to get help quickly.
